Q. Who are Aspen Fitness Inc?
A. Aspen Fitness Inc. was formed in 2007, to source and
distribute a specialist range of fitness products and
services that illustrated to parents and fitness
professionals, the fun and healthy ways in which we can get
our kids fit and help combat the alarming growth in
childhood obesity.
Q. What is Gymkids?
A. Gymkids is an exclusive range of cardiovascular fitness
products, specifically designed and developed for use by
children aged 3-11 years.
The equipment is smaller, more brightly colored versions of
the gym equipment mommy and daddy use, it does not encourage
strength or muscle development and children will only ever
push against their own weight.
Q. Is Gymkids safe for my children to use?
A. Absolutely. The Gymkids range is constructed from
tubular steel and soft fabrics and conforms to European
standards relating to health and safety.
Q. What should children use the Gymkids range of
equipment for?
A. In our opinion it is OK for children to use fitness
equipment aimed at improving cardiovascular levels but not
those aimed at muscle enhancement. The Gymkids range of
products is designed solely for the purpose of improving
cardiovascular levels for children and is therefore
perfectly safe to use.
Q. Should a child use your equipment unsupervised?
A. No. Supervision by a responsible adult should be
undertaken at all times.
Q. What age range is the equipment designed for?
A. This is often difficult to judge as we are all unique and
individuals come in all shapes and sizes. As a rule of
thumb, if the child is comfortable on the equipment and does
not appear to be over stretching in anyway, then the
equipment is safe to use. Gymkids is tested to be weight
bearing up to 150lbs and should therefore accommodate the
majority of children. In all cases where there is doubt
however, we would recommend you seek the advice of a fitness
professional or call one of our team. As a guide, an age
range of 3 to 11 years is usually acceptable.

A. All products are distributed from our head office in
Winnipeg, Manitoba.
